BRIAN BARRENTINE

From: Atlanta Georgia, now lives in New York City & Orlando, Florida 

Lifelong artist, educator, and world traveler, Brian Barrentine is the creator, voice and face of FunikiJam World Music - multiple winner of the Parent’s Choice Award for Best Music. He is the creator of 10 original off Broadway and touring musicals and the creator and star of the FunikIJam Show with Captain Ja streaming series in China.  Barrentine has been cast in numerous musicals on Broadway and Off; played Elvis in Elvis the Musical - European Tour; written the Gymboree Music Program; served as Early Childhood Director at Brooklyn Conservatory; taught as Professor of Early Childhood Arts at New York University, and acted on screen in TV shows like "The Good Wife", "Madam Secretary", and "Law & Order:SVU".

BEATRIZ CAVALIERI

From: Sao Paulo, Brazil

Beatriz Cavalieri is an actress, singer and producer with a Bachelor of Arts in Filmmaking from FAAP and an alumnus of Terry Knickerbocker’s Meisner Conservatory. Some of her recent credits include "Away From Here", "Winning New York" (Winner and Audience’s Favorite Film at the NewFilmmakersNY Festival), "Right Time, Left Turn" and the bilingual feature film "Amor Fati". From: Kearny, NJ

Off-Broadway credits include Fidelis and The Great Immensity (The Public Theater), The Jammer and The Cherry Orchard (Atlantic Theater Company) and To The Bone (Cherry Lane Theatre). Regional credits include The Hound of the Baskervilles (Hangar Theatre, The Cape Playhouse and Weston Playhouse Theatre Company), The Great Immensity (Kansas City Repertory Theatre), It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play (Long Wharf Theatre), The Real Thing (Studio Theatre), Julius Caesar (Portland Stage Company), When the Sun Shone Brighter (Florida Stage) and Amadeus and Othello at Pioneer Theatre Company. Film credits include "Run All Night", "In Stereo" and "Future 38". Television credits include "The Blacklist", "Law and Order", "Third Watch" and "Royal Pains".

JUAN ESPINAL

From: Dominican Republic

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Juan Espinal is a 2017 Helen Hayes award nominee for his performance as Usnavi in the US Spanish premiere of In The Heights in Washington, D.C.  Graduate of  the Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute of New York. Some of his credits include : Benny (RENT 20th Anniversary tour), Barber/Anselmo (Man of La Mancha), Jesus (Godspell), among others.  Thrilled to be part of this wonderful cast.

ANDREA GALATA

From: Catania, Italy

Andrea Galatà is a New York based, Italian internationally awarded actor, director, screenwriter, choreographer and dancer.  After his professional debut at the age of 15 as a professional dancer, Andrea soon started to work also as an actor, singer and performer.  After touring across Europe, shortly after moving to the States he landed several roles in musical theater productions in New York, and toured to South Korea and China, performing as an actor, dancer, singer and musician.

SHAWDAY GRAVES

From: Landover, MD

Shawday graduated from American Musical Dramatic Academy for Musical Theatre in 2016. She has appeared in several musicals such as Violet, Hairspray and Jesus Christ Superstar regionally and more.  She made her debut with Funikijam in Holiday Beat back in 2019 reprised the role of Sabbaba in City of Hope.  Shawday sure likes being Second in Command.

 

KYLE JACK

From: Brooklyn, NY

Kyle Jack graduated with an MBA from Grand Canyon University. Some of his favorite credits include Rubble in "Paw Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure," Hud in "Hair the Musical," The Cowardly Lion in "The Wizard of Oz" (Enlightened Theatrics; Won BroadwayWorld.com award for Best Featured Actor), Judas in "Godspell" at Penn State and "Snoopy" at Plaza Theatrics. He wants to thank his family and friends for their support. 

 

SHIHO MATSUOKA

From: Kyoto, Japan

Shiho Matsuoka is from Kyoto, Japan and works in news while she pursues her dream as an actor, model and singer in NYC. She cannot wait to cover the breaking news of her making it to the top!

SARAH ROSE

From: Norton, Ohio

Sarah Rose just completed a contract as a solo aerialist in King Triton’s Concert at Tokyo Disney Sea Resort in Tokyo, Japan. She was last seen as a dancer on Disney Cruise Line in various shows such as Frozen The Musical, The Golden Mickey’s, Once Upon a Song and many more. Sarah has been seen in other dancer and ensemble rolls in Aladdin, High School Musical, and It’s a Wonderful Life at North Canton Playhouse and various workshops and showcases at American Musical Dramatic Academy. Sarah has also been seen in personalized music videos with Mediak Productions with all styles of dance. Having graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City with a major in dance and minor in musical theatre, Sarah is a classically trained dancer who has been trained as an intermediate tumbler and now advanced two point harness aerial work. When she is not performing, you can find Sarah finding any every opportunity to work with children and inspire those around her to find the joy in their own artistry.

KAILA WOOTEN

From: Nashville, TN

Kaila Wooten is a Manhattan-based actor, singer, musician, and writer. Growing up in Nashville, Tennessee with her three siblings, two parents, and three dogs meant that she had the wonderful opportunity to travel and perform all over the world at a young age. Kaila also worked as a session singer before moving to NYC where she majored in Drama (and minored in Producing) at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. There, Kaila studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, as well as Stonestreet Studios. Kaila also teaches private voice and works as a music, voice, art, and movement teacher for the company FunikiJam.

JUNIOR AGENTS OF JAM

GENEVIEVE GODLESKY is a very versatile dancer from New Jersey who started dancing at the age of two. She dances at Broadway Dance Center in NYC and is a part of their performance company AIM. Genevieve has done an off Broadway show with KOTA productions called Dance Divas Nutcracker. She has been a part of FunikiJam’s World Web Streaming Series and their Move to the Music Series.

Actor, model and voice over artist EMPEROR KAIOYUS has appeared in many varied projects, including those for Gap, J. Crew, CNN, NYTimes, WSJ, TRU, Sprout, CBS, NBC, ABC and FOX.  Emperor won Best Actor in the 2020 Midnight Film Awards.

KADYN KUIOKA began his professional acting career at age of 10 playing a Royal Child in The King and I Broadway National Tour. He toured the U.S. and Canada. Kadyn played the role of Kuru in Tropical Angel the Musical, English Premier (2020). He has also appeared in commercials for Meredith Corporation, Samsung, and Bright Farms. Kadyn recently worked on two short films and recorded a voice over for an upcoming podcast series.

KYLIE KUIOKA began her professional acting career at the age of 8 playing a Royal Child in The King and I Broadway National Tour. Kylie toured the U.S. and Canada for 7 months. She made her Off-Broadway debut as Geraldine Bullet in Panama Hattie. She was then cast as ‘Tootie’ Smith in "Meet Me in St. Louis" (on screen version) in 2020. Kylie also recently recorded a voice over for an upcoming animated feature film. She has appeared in commercials for Walmart and Macrae Skye.
